Fornost

Welcome to Fornost, the ancient capital of Dunedains. The hills, on which the king's slim towers were situated long time ago, are nowadays marked by their barrows. The wind blows between ruins, and the only dwellers are wild animals, which have their nests in the old buildings. However, descendants of old Kings gather there annually to recall the legends of the past glory. They call themselves Rangers of the North, and they take care of their history, and do not let the memory of their descendants to be forgotten. They believe that someday, their house will be back on the Gondor`s throne, and join all people together.

Fornost is the convention organized by Rangers of the North assotiation. It will be located near by Nowy Sącz in Żegiestów, and will last from 20 to 26 of July In the beautiful scenery of Poprad river, lots of Tolkien`s fans will be living in tents for a week. The main attraction will be a LARP game called "Trial by Fire". Participants will play as the characters from Third Age of Middle-Earth. But FORNOST is going to be special not only because of the main game. The best thing about FORNOST is a multitude of attractions. Three different LARP games, two contests of Tolkien's books knowledge , one field battle etc. and of course, great atmosphere and conditions.
